Invitation to bid for Procurement of Construction Contractor for Expansion of TBI to Accommodate the New Drum Dryer and New Steam Generation Unit at Nyaruzinga, Bushenyi.

  1. The PIBID/BIRDC has received funds to be used for the Procurement of Construction Contractor for Expansion of TBI to Accomodate New Drum Dryer and New Steam Generation Unit at Nyaruzinga, Bushenyi
  2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above works.
  3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all eligible bidders.
  4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the address given below at 8(a) from 8:00am – 5:00pm on working days.
  5. The Request For Bidding document which has been prepared in the English language may be purchased by interested bidders at 8(b) upon submission of a written application and  payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000 (One Hundred Shillings Only.The method of payment will be Cash Deposit at Account given by PIBID/BIRDC. A/C Name: Banana Industrial Research Development Centre with A/C No.9030019017450,Stanbic Bank,Stanbic Forest Mall Branch.
  6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(c) at or before 10:00am on 3rd April, 2025

All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of UGX 40,000,000. Bid Securities must be valid until 4th September, 2025. Electronic Bidding will be permitted. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) at 10:30am on 3rd April, 2025

  1. There shall be a site visit on 13th March, 2025.
